Job Title: Integration Engineering Lead

We are currently seeking an experienced Integration Solutions Architect to lead our integration engineering team.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions that connect various systems and applications across the organisation.
  • This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor a team of engineers and managed service providers.

The key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Partnering with the technology team to develop and implement a strategic technology plan for integration and automation services that aligns with business objectives
  • Proactively building and maintaining strong relationships with key technology team members and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of the status of service-related issues and proactively obtaining feedback to drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and address technology infrastructure needs and providing technical guidance for projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in integration and engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working within similar corporate/retail environments, partnering with technology teams and businesses to achieve business outcomes and optimize customer/end-user experience

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, including:

  • A strong understanding of integration patterns (e.g., point-to-point, pub/sub, request/reply, message queue)
  • The ability to design and document integration solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Knowledge of API design principles (REST, SOAP), microservices architecture, and event-driven architecture
