About the Role

People2People is seeking a highly skilled Family Law Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sydney's CBD. As a key member of our family law department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Partners and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the drafting and preparation of court documents, affidavits, and other legal paperwork, ensuring compliance with legal standards and accuracy.
  • Support end-of-month billing and prepare financial documents related to client matters, contributing to the firm's financial efficiency.
  • Provide full administrative assistance to the Partner, including diary management, coordinating meetings, and preparing correspondence to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries with professionalism and discretion. Maintain meticulous organisation of emails, files, and legal documents for accessibility and confidentiality.
  • Organise and maintain electronic and physical client files, ensuring efficient document archiving and easy retrieval as needed.
Requirements
  • A strong background in family law, with an understanding of the sensitive nature of the work.
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines, ensuring smooth work flow and productivity.
  • A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in records and documentation, critical for maintaining high standards in legal work.
  • Confidence in making decisions and taking proactive steps to advance the firm's objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and a polished demeanour, essential for representing the firm and engaging with clients effectively.
