International Taxation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled International Taxation Expert to join our Economist Practice team.

  • This is a specialist group within International, Support and Programs, widely recognised as one of Australia's strongest transfer pricing practices.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sophisticated economic analysis and advice on complex cross-border transactions.

  • They will ensure alignment with the arm's length principle to support fair and accurate tax outcomes in accordance with Australian law.
  • Additionally, they will develop international tax strategies and innovative compliance initiatives.
  • They will also manage, coach and mentor junior team members and support training on economic or technical matters.
  • Furthermore, they will identify, analyse and resolve complex transfer pricing and profit shifting risks.
Key Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have expertise in transfer pricing and understand Australia's legislative and policy framework.

  • Economic expertise to provide clear, detailed advice on complex issues with confidence and precision is essential.
  • Leadership skills to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and resources are required.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and team leadership skills are necessary.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, analytical environment with global influence.

Location

These roles will be offered in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Perth or Sydney CBD.
