Job Title: Financial Network Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Financial Network Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality management reporting and partnering with stakeholders to provide expert financial advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and control the month end process, ensuring accurate and timely posting of journals in accordance with APA policy and deadlines.
  • Support state management accountants in key areas, including cost centre and project forecasts for all cost centres, and provide project managers with their monthly results within required timeframes.
  • Liaise with the broader organisation to ensure risks and queries are identified, addressed and resolved promptly.
  • Assist in project maintenance in Workday, including project creation, close-out, capitalisation, and ensuring integrity of master data.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications (ICAA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Quality experience in financial and management accounting, as well as budgeting and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel) and strong understanding of major ERP systems, preferably Workday.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent stakeholder, communication, and interpersonal skills.

The Networks Finance function is accountable for delivering management accounting services for the AGN networks, GDI network, and APA's own Central Ranges network. We facilitate management decision-making and organisational performance by establishing APA accounting policy and governance for the group's financial systems.
