Metals Fabricator Position

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team in the metal fabrication industry. As a skilled Metals Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal structures, components, and equipment according to engineering specifications.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification and 2-3 years of practical experience in metal fabrication. They should possess excellent technical skills, including Tig, Mig, and MMAW welding experience. In addition, they should be able to operate heavy rollers with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, components, and equipment as per engineering specifications.
  • Operate heavy rollers to shape metals accurately.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify defects or areas requiring maintenance or repair.
  • Perform various metalworking tasks, including welding, cutting, grinding, with high accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification / Cert III in Fabrication and Welding.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in metal fabrication.
  • Tig, Mig, and MMAW welding experience.
