About the Role

Our team is responsible for analyzing cash holdings across multiple currencies, working closely with Treasury to provide accurate and timely information for investment decisions and ensuring sufficient liquidity is held at our sub-custodian and agent bank network to meet market obligations.

The role of a Cash Management Consultant involves supporting broader team functions including management of liquidity for AUD payment flows within the RTGS payment system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Treasury to calculate and determine currency investments, mitigate risk, and ensure smooth settlement across APAC currencies
  • Proactively identify and manage potential liquidity issues, liaising with internal and external parties to mitigate settlement risk
  • Monitor funding across sub-custodian and agent bank accounts
  • Analyze funding and investment decisions, implementing remedial actions to aid future decision making
  • Assist in managing day-to-day team deliverables, including query management, reconciliation, and ad hoc reporting requests
  • Provide support to the wider team and business unit functions, participating in cross-training and learning opportunities to strengthen team resiliency
  • Participate in initiatives, including continuous improvement, market or internal changes, and small to medium-sized projects

For this role, we are seeking an individual with a demonstrated understanding of Global Custody and/or related securities and payment functions. Strong operational experience, preferably in cash or liquidity management, is also desired.
