The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for providing guidance and support to production managers, supervisors, and employees. This entails maintaining adequate staffing levels for the business, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, leading investigations, managing attendance and turnover trends, promoting positive employee relations, updating and maintaining HR records, and prioritizing workplace safety.
About You- You should have prior experience in a manufacturing environment and be capable of engaging in challenging conversations.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to influence and perseverance to enhance processes, are required.
- Effective working relationships at all business levels must be fostered, and you must be able to adapt to day or night shifts on a 38-hour week.
- Australian working rights and intermediate computer skills, particularly within MS Word and Excel, are necessary.
