Speech Pathologist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with neurodiverse children and their families, providing evidence-based speech pathology services in a supportive clinical setting.

About the Job

The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for conducting assessments and delivering individualized therapy sessions. They will also work closely with allied health colleagues to provide integrated care, participate in team meetings and reflective practice, and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conducting assessments and delivering individualized therapy sessions
  • Working with children with Autism, ADHD, and developmental language delay
  • Coaching and educating parents to support carryover at home
  • Running small group programs (e.g., school readiness, social communication)
  • Collaborating closely with allied health colleagues for integrated care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Speech Pathology
  • Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Interest or experience in working with neurodiverse children

  • $100,000–$120,000 salary, commensurate with experience
  • Up to 10 weeks paid leave annually, including 4 weeks annual leave and 6 additional weeks during term breaks
  • Monday to Friday roster, 9:00am to 5:00pm (no weekends or after-hours work)
  • Full administrative support for scheduling, billing, and client enquiries
  • Laptop and iPad provided
  • CPD funding and regular supervision sessions with ongoing scheduled support
