About the Role

Alfred Health is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Officer to join our team. As a key member of our administration team, you will provide exceptional support to our clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including greeting patients, handling referrals, and booking appointments
  • Audit and validate wait lists to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Support clinical staff with administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, including MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
  • Previous administration experience in a health setting, preferably in a hospital environment
  • Personable, customer-focused approach, and commitment to high-quality service
  • Ability to plan workflow, prioritize tasks, and delegate to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy legislation, as well as medical terminology
