Job Title: Data Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Management Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong organizational skills, and is passionate about delivering high-quality results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, entering, and managing patient-related data using the NSW state-wide genetics database/patient management system called Trakgene. They will also provide clinical genetics file management, purchasing, and invoice payment services, as well as manage office duties.

This role requires a high level of computer literacy, excellent written and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with databases in a health-related area and possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working with databases in a health-related area
  • High level of computer literacy, including Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Publisher
  • Demonstrated data management skills (data collection, entry, analysis, reporting and validation) with the ability to coordinate data management, integrity and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team with excellent interpersonal skills and to be able to work independently
