Job Title:

Hydraulics Modeler/Designer

Expert Hydraulic Modeling and Design Professional Sought for Key Role in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic modeling and design, with extensive experience in utilizing Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD software packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed models of buildings and infrastructure projects using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD software packages.
  • Collaborate with project or engineering discipline-based teams to contribute, complete, and implement designs as required.
  • Oversee and deliver allocated project work scope within the hydraulic discipline.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Adhere to Australian Standards, Regulations, KBR engineering and management procedures, and established industry practices.
  • Effectively interface with clients and understand internal and external client needs.
  • Routinely identify and resolve problems relating to the services.
  • Achieve excellent level of client satisfaction and foster opportunities for follow-on work.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience using Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks software packages for hydraulic projects.
  • Experience in plumbing design/model and possess a good understanding of relevant plumbing codes.
  • Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (Operations or Hydraulic Services Design) is highly preferred.
  • Diploma of Hydraulic Services Design would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver project documentation requirements within a multi-disciplinary project according to schedule, quality, and budget requirements.
  • Practical knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety and compliance with safety, environmental, quality controls and relevant review and approval processes.
