Project Officer
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Officer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating events, managing projects, and providing administrative support.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing administrative support to deliver on IBN's strategy and outcomes;
- Organising meetings, forums, and events;
- Providing customer service to members and stakeholders;
- Purchasing and procurement coordination;
- Maintaining corporate records and coordinating mail services;
- Supporting travel and accommodation bookings and fleet coordination.
The successful candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. They will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an ability to build relationships with a broad range of people.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Ability to work with Aboriginal people and demonstrate an understanding of Aboriginal Australian culture;
- Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills;
- Proven time management and organisational skills;
- Well-developed experience in undertaking administrative tasks;
- Proven skills in research and conceptual thinking;
- Ability to work positively and effectively in a team environment.
