The role of a Training and Development Officer is crucial in supporting frontline staff across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct needs analysis with management to identify training gaps and develop strategies to address these needs.
- Create and deliver training programs aligned with policies, best practices, and procedures to enhance professional standards.
- Evaluate staff performance and compile reports based on assessments.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of training frameworks and standards.
- Assess and evaluate internal training initiatives.
- Maintain information systems to track staff training and assessment.
- Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and enhance service delivery.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or accredited tertiary qualification in adult education is highly regarded.
- This is a non-shift role, but occasional afternoon shifts may be required with shift penalties applying.
- Travel to Brisbane for training may also be necessary.
