Registered Mental Health Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Bundaberg Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career and make a meaningful difference in mental health care every day.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centred care within our Community Care Unit. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialised support, develop care plans, and promote recovery and wellbeing for patients facing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care that meets contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice in a Mental Health Community Residential Rehabilitation setting.
  • Actively participate in education, management, and portfolio functions within the unit as part of a multidisciplinary team working with Allied Health and Peer workforce.
  • Utilise data and information to ensure the service is organised for safety and contribute to the capture of information that measures standard of service delivery.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Master's or Diploma) would be highly regarded.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary rate between $41.74 - $53.53 p.h. (p/t) or $51.33 - $65.85 p.h. (casual)
