Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical leadership and coordination of patient-centred care specific to Perinatal Mental Health.
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory while providing advice and advocacy to multidisciplinary teams.
- Facilitating quality and cost-effective nursing services that meet contemporary standards and guidelines.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of contemporary nursing practice within Perinatal Mental Health.
- Able to participate directly or indirectly in the delivery of clinical care to individuals/groups within Perinatal Mental Health.
- Ongoing professional development of self and others with a focus on lifelong learning, mentoring, and support.
- High-level management and organisational skills including advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge and application of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards in relation to consultancy of Perinatal Mental Health.
Required qualifications include:
- Mandatory possession of a nursing qualification from a registered tertiary institution or completion of an approved hospital training program as a Registered Nurse.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate.
- Possession of context-specific postgraduate qualification in nursing is highly desirable.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package comprising salary rates between $66.86 - $72.59 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%).
