Project Coordinator

This is a full-time, permanent role with the option to consider part-time (four days per week) for the right applicant. The successful candidate will work across all sites and outlying services.

About the Role

  • Work with Capital Works Project Managers to ensure quality and consistency across projects by evaluating and selecting appropriate fittings, fixtures, materials, furniture, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, suppliers, and manufacturers to guarantee products meet requirements and are fit for purpose.
  • Assist project managers in delivering projects by coordinating delivery, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Evaluate project documentation from architectural consultants to ensure consistency with health facility guidelines.
  • Test new projects and develop a testing, reviewing, and evaluation program.
  • Select finishes and fixtures for smaller, in-house projects.

About You

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for writing and maintaining our design guide.
  • Relevant interior design qualifications or experience are beneficial but not necessary. This role focuses on managing quality in practice.
  • Exceptional logistics experience is required, including organizing and delivering complex outcomes.
  • You should be passionate about working in the healthcare environment and with a team dedicated to improving outcomes in the built environment.
