Sales Assistant

This is a part-time opportunity working as a sales assistant in a retail environment. You will be based at our Chermside store, where you will work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
About the JobWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. As a sales assistant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, processing transactions and maintaining a clean and organised store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and assist customers with their purchases
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and promoting products
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and keyboard proficiency
- A driver's license and access to a vehicle (due to late night trading)
- Retail experience is desirable but not essential
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $27.80 - $41.70 per hour, plus opportunities for overtime pay and penalty rates. We also provide a supportive and dynamic work environment, with regular training and guidance from experienced retailers.
