Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking technical assessments on electrical and instrumentation assets, assisting the principal electrician with administration and performing maintenance and inspection work ensuring safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Exercise high level diagnostics on complex control systems and equipment
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues
- Assist the principal electrician with administrative tasks
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation assets

Requirements:
- Electrical trade qualification at Certificate III (AQF 3) or above
- Computer literacy and a solid understanding of telemetry systems
- Confined Space Certification (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus immunisations (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current White Card
- Awareness of Safety
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Current drivers' licence

Desirable Skills:
- Additional Instrumentation trade qualification at Certificate III (AQF 3) or above
- EEHA (Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas) certification
- Working at Heights certification
- Understanding of / experience in Telemetry systems
- Previous experience in maintaining Water / Wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and associated infrastructure
