The NSW Decarbonisation Hub seeks a skilled Communications and Engagement Officer to develop and implement strategies promoting its purpose, programs, and outcomes.
This role involves content creation, event management, social media strategy, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building with industry, government, and community partners.
- Develop and implement communication plans to raise the profile of programs and outcomes of the Hub and its Networks.
- Lead the development of engaging social media content based on research outcomes, industry partnerships, and research profiles to achieve objectives.
- Prepare and distribute external communications content that profiles the Hub and its Network via regular newsletters.
- Produce media releases, key messages, and briefing notes as required.
- Support the delivery and promotion of events, funds, and campaigns of the Hub to meet objectives and maximize profile.
- Build relationships with industry, government, partner institutions, and community to extend the Hub's reach and engagement.
- Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship.
- Relevant tertiary qualification with experience or equivalent competence through education, training, and experience.
- Proven track record in delivering marketing strategies that achieve measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex information into clear messages for diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders and develop new initiatives with creativity and enthusiasm.
