Job Title:

Industrial Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Operations Manager to oversee our 3rd shift production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude, excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, and familiarity with OSHA industrial standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enforce safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Schedule work activities and times to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demands.
  • Supervise a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Perform manufacturing functions, including quality control checks and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement cost reduction measures to improve profitability.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO quality procedures and maintain a high level of product quality.
  • Enforce disciplinary policies and procedures to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a technical or industrial management field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within an industrial production environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA industrial standards and regulations.
