Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Operations

This pivotal role offers the opportunity to foster strong partnerships across a dynamic network, ensuring collaborative success and operational excellence.

Working closely with the Executive Director, you'll drive the implementation of strategic plans and lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of high-impact programs and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership – Partner with the Executive Director to drive strategic planning, program development, and performance monitoring across a multi-institutional network.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Build and lead strong relationships with national partners and stakeholders to advance health innovation.
  • Operational Excellence – Oversee operational delivery, governance, and financial management, ensuring alignment with policies and objectives.
  • Team Leadership – Provide direction and support to professional staff, fostering a high-performance culture and leveraging the team's expertise.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant area and extensive relevant experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
  • Extensive senior management experience in a complex setting (university, government, hospital, or medical research institute).
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including success in consultations and high-level negotiations with key stakeholders.
  • Experience with preparing and delivering reports, briefing documents, and presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in financial, operational, and people management of a complex organisation, ideally in a research or health environment.
  • Strong time-management, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and in a team; capable of handling multiple initiatives under time pressure.
