Are you a motivated and dedicated individual seeking a challenging role in hospital pharmacy? We have an exciting opportunity for a Hospital Dispensary Technician to join our team at Epworth Private Hospital in Richmond.
Job Description- Dispense medications under supervision for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Prepare patient medication profiles on discharge
- Assist patients and clients with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff
- Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital
- Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Proven time management skills and attention to detail
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn
