Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Coordinator to join our team, responsible for leading and managing the support services for students with additional learning needs.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that requires innovative and energetic educators who can develop and implement tailored support programs for students.
  • The successful candidate will lead the development of support plans, aligning with our school's framework, and collaborate with teachers to modify learning programs and meet individual student needs.
  • They will manage and support teachers and aides in the support team, designing and implementing lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking across key areas.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate ongoing testing, monitoring, and assessment of students with additional learning needs, reporting test results and data to inform exceptional support programs.
  • Evaluate and embed best practices around Special Needs Education, providing timely feedback to students.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Special Education or relevant field is preferred.
  • Rich knowledge of research and best practice around Special Needs Education, including experience using MultiLit, MacqLit, JEMM, or JEMM+ mathematics programs.
