Telehealth Medical Practitioner Job Opportunity

Job Description

As a medical practitioner in our telehealth team, you will deliver high-quality consultations to a diverse patient base. Your clinical expertise and ability to adapt to digital tools will enable you to optimize patient outcomes and service efficiency.

  • Conduct thorough assessments, prescribe medications (S4 & S8), and provide follow-up consults as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline care and maintain complete documentation in a digital-first environment.
  • Commit to providing regular hours to our patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking dependable doctors who excel in fast-paced environments and possess strong clinical judgment, an evidence-based mindset, and excellent time management skills. Required qualifications include:

  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4)
  • Experience in emergency, urgent care, high-volume GP, or telehealth settings
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligations
  • Ability to work efficiently with multiple digital platforms and navigate technology effectively
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment with a focus on patient continuity
