Data Insights Specialist

Perth Airport serves as Western Australia's major aviation gateway, facilitating economic, social, and cultural exchanges.
The airport is investing heavily in new infrastructure to enhance customer experience and support airline partners.
Key initiatives include expanding international terminal facilities and developing domestic terminal capabilities.
Our estate spans 2100 hectares with existing industrial premises and vacant land holdings.
This diverse airport supports a wide range of activities, including business, tourism, and leisure travel.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Analyse data to reveal trends and deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data products to ensure timely information delivery.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency across BI systems.
- Provide training and support to users to enhance BI capability within the airport.
- Continuously improve BI processes and adopt modern technologies to streamline operations.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and managing BI and data products.
- Proficiency in BI tools and techniques such as Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and strong knowledge of data modelling.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot and optimise workloads.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and convey technical insights effectively.
- A proactive mindset with ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments.
