Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the daily operations of our farm, including crop management and livestock care. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of agriculture and experience in managing farms or agricultural businesses. They should be able to develop and implement effective strategies for crop production and animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crop Management: Plan, execute, and monitor crop cultivation activities to ensure maximum yields and quality.
  • Livestock Care: Develop and implement effective feeding programs, provide veterinary care, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for animals.
  • Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of farm staff to achieve optimal performance.
  • Maintenance and Improvement: Maintain equipment and facilities, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare accurate reports on farm performance, track expenses, and develop budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in farm management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
