Key Responsibilities- Manage WHS incident interventions across Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) and ensure adequacy of regulator response documentation.
- Develop and implement WHS programs based on risk controls, regulator recommendations and assurance program outcomes.
- Manage the quality of WHS information within the incident reporting tool.
- Accountable to interpret data and report WHS performance to various committees and forums.
- Develop and manage the CASG WHS Assurance program to measure WHS conformance and compliance.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on complex and sensitive work health and safety issues.

- Develop and manage WHS critical hazard management policies, processes and guidance in accordance with legislation and Defence policies and procedures.
- Coordinate delivery of WHS critical hazard regulatory reporting obligations.
- Engage and advise internal and external stakeholders on complex WHS issues and legislative requirements.
- Organised, and have the ability to manage competing priorities to respond to your stakeholders needs.
- Proactive, and use your initiative to make informed decisions and solve complex problems under limited direction.
- Strategically focused, supporting and contributing to the development and implementation of strategic WHS activities.
- An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written), and have the ability to foster a positive team culture and build positive stakeholder relationships.
- Accountable for ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
