Cold Storage Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cold Storage Specialist to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our refrigeration equipment.

• Perform daily temperature checks in plant freezers and cool rooms to ensure they are operating within set parameters.
• Diagnose faults and complete maintenance requests on refrigeration systems, including freon and secondary coolants.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.
• Service refrigeration equipment on local dairy farms and related facilities to meet their cooling needs.
• Collaborate with multiple onsite departments and operational areas to achieve shared goals and objectives.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and prioritize tasks effectively to minimize disruption to our operations.

• Proven experience working with refrigeration systems, including freon and secondary coolants.
• Good computer skills, preferably with experience using SCADA systems.
• Self-motivated, problem-solving, and team player with excellent communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
