About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Customer Data Science team, responsible for building and maintaining seamless, secure, and sustainable platforms that enable customers to shop with confidence and merchant partners to grow their brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on the development of AI chatbot to support our CX agents to move at Zipspeed
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (primarily across Product and Marketing) to optimise various processes and in turn, enhance operational efficiency or improve the customer experience.
  • Analyse large, complex datasets using statistical methods to extract valuable actionable insights.
  • Support with the development of AI innovation solutions using the latest techniques and technologies (e.g. LLMs)
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role (2 to 5 years of relevant experience)
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning techniques, with hands-on experience in model development and evaluation.
  • Experience working with large datasets and proficiency in querying languages (e.g., SQL) is essential
  • Experience in using modern data stack for end to end data science & analytics (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, DBT) would be highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
