About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional care to critically ill patients. As a key member of our emergency department, you will work closely with specialist veterinarians to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage and Admit Patients: Accurately assess and manage emergency cases, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical Care Provision: Provide direct care to critically ill patients, utilizing your skills and expertise to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Diagnostics and Treatment: Perform diagnostic procedures, administer treatments, and assist with anesthesia as needed.
  • Patient Monitoring and Record-Keeping: Accurately monitor and record patient care, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with staff and clients.
  • Liaison and Communication: Develop strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A certified IV in veterinary nursing or equivalent qualification is essential for this role.
  • At least 2+ years of clinical experience in emergency medicine is required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment is crucial, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interest in ECC (Emergency and Critical Care) and a proactive, positive attitude are highly valued.
