About the Role:

You will work for a leading global manufacturer with a presence across Australia, the USA, Canada, the UK, and Europe. The company has operated for over 20 years and is known for its innovative Australian-made products used globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, set up, conduct, analyze, and write-up clinical studies related to the organization's products and specific research areas in infection control.
  • Develop safety and efficacy requirements for product development by reviewing standards and guidelines.
  • Assist in identifying contract research organizations and develop reporting procedures and case report forms for data collection.
  • Coordinate study equipment and materials, and perform data analysis including statistical analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • A post-graduate qualification in life sciences research discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical research experience, preferably in microbiology or biochemistry.
  • Experience in designing and developing study procedures.
  • Desirable: experience in a commercial setting and knowledge of laboratory-based testing in micro and/or biochemistry.
  • QMS systems and documentation expertise.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
