Essential Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA)
  • Teacher's Registration - FULL/PROVISIONAL
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • A deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to deliver high-quality education programs
  • The ability to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children's needs and interests
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues
  • The skill in observing children's progress, documenting their learning, and using this information to guide future planning
  • The ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff, and families to create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment
