Salary and BenefitsWe offer an attractive salary package for this Enrolled Nurse Surgical position, with a competitive remuneration rate of $63,130.85 - $68,599.17 per annum, plus superannuation. Additionally, you will be entitled to 5 weeks' paid annual leave, salary packaging, novated leasing, and a comfortable lifestyle in Broken Hill.
Job DescriptionThis role involves assisting in the evaluation of nursing care, acting as a preceptor to other enrolled nurses, and working within your scope of practice to provide individualised patient care. You will also have the opportunity to administer medications in accordance with NSW Health and Far West LHD policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate nursing care through provision of information, documentation, and reporting changes in patient conditions
- Act as a preceptor to other enrolled nurses, undergraduates, Assistants in Nursing, and work experience students
- Work within own scope of practice and seek support, learning, and education where required
- Administer medications in accordance with NSW Health and Far West LHD policies and procedures
- Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred care
- Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner
- 5 weeks' paid annual leave per year
