About the position
We are seeking a Casual Laboratory Technician to join our materials processing team in Rutherford, NSW.
Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Daily tasks:

  • Daily processing of animal materials
  • Laboratory set up and cleaning
  • Recording and weighing materials

Operating lab equipment and machines:
  • Loading and unloading the laboratory machine
  • Organising material waste
  • General warehousing duties

Packaging and shipping:
  • Packaging and palletising for domestic and international shipments

About you:
  • No previous laboratory or manufacturing experience required, but is preferred
  • Must be comfortable handling animal by-products
  • Must hold a valid full driver's licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Must have legal working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen, resident or a valid work visa)
