Senior Church Leader


About the Role:

The senior Pastor is the spiritual leader of the church. He is responsible to the Lord and the church to primarily proclaim the gospel and teach the Bible.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct worship services
  • Lead the church in an effective evangelism emphasis and in a caring ministry for those in the church and community
  • Engage in pastoral care and provide supervisory leadership in all areas of congregational care
  • Represent the church in civic matters along with other members of the church leadership

Requirements:

To be successful, the Senior Church Leader will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers
  • Experience in planning and conducting worship services
  • Passion for evangelism and community outreach
