About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at the Residential Care Home in Waikerie. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide support with toileting and continence management
  • Help with feeding and maintaining residents' mobility and dexterity
  • Undertake bed making, cleaning, and laundry duties
  • Contribute to resident assessments and record observations
Requirements
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
  • Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled persons
  • Ability to work under limited direction and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills and empathy towards the elderly
