Environmental Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated graduate to join our multidisciplinary team as an Environmental Design Specialist.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in sustainable design and the built environment.

The Role You'll Play
  • Develop your knowledge and skills under the guidance of more experienced staff across multiple offices, and assist by analysing, reporting, modelling and documenting sustainable design projects.
  • Perform sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation (such as energy and daylight modelling).
  • Manage green building certification.
  • Develop strategies for water conservation and reduce upfront emissions.
  • Undertake energy audits and related duties.
  • Work across Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Residential sectors.
The Skills You'll Bring
  • Educated to degree level in Engineering, the Built Environment or a related area.
  • Experience (academic or professional) with relevant skills; strong communication and initiative in collaborative, client-focused settings.
  • Ideally knowledge of ESD rating tools (Green Star, NABERS, LBC, etc.) and a passion for creative design.
  • Experience with energy modelling software and parametric modelling software (Grasshopper/Rhino/Dynamo) is positive but not essential.
