About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Elevator Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electric and hydraulic passenger and freight lifts, escalators, moving walkways, and other lift equipment.

Daily Responsibilities
Your role will include:
  • Examining blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to plan and determine the best methods for each project.
  • Measuring and laying out insulation reference points accurately to ensure proper installation.
  • Selecting, cutting, and connecting wires and cables to terminals and connectors, ensuring safe and efficient electrical connections.
  • Using advanced instruments to trace and diagnose electrical faults, quickly identifying and addressing issues.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts to maintain the reliability of lift systems.
  • Positioning and installing electrical switchboards, ensuring they are properly set up and connected.
  • Connecting electrical systems to the power supply, ensuring all connections are secure and functional.
  • Testing the continuity of circuits to verify that electrical paths are complete and working correctly.
  • Installing, testing, and adjusting both electric and mechanical parts of lifts, ensuring they operate smoothly and safely.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Experience working independently or in a team.
  • A strong understanding of electric and hydraulic lift systems.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and represent the company.
  • Organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's licence.

Benefits
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on your experience and suitability.
