About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Unqualified Home Care Worker, providing domestic support and companionship to individuals in their own homes.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for cleaning, meal preparation, and housekeeping to keep homes safe and welcoming. You will also be available from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, to offer friendly social support and transport to appointments, shopping or community outings.

You will observe and report changes, ensuring care plans are up-to-date and accurate records are kept. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and able to work independently.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • A current driver's licence
  • A comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes
  • Competent in the use of a smartphone
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
