We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Art Support Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care and art activities to participants in our Art Studio program called Boonah.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with participants, families, carers, and stakeholders to ensure their activities align with their needs and preferences. This includes implementing participant goals, providing active support, and making decisions using sound judgement to support and advocate for the participant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support participants through the creative process of artwork development.
  • Interact positively with participants, families, carers, and stakeholders.
  • Undertake all required aspects of participant personal care.
  • Make decisions using sound judgement to support and advocate for the participant.
  • Accompany participants on excursions or outings.
  • Assist participants in implementing their personal and art-based goals.

Requirements include experience working with vulnerable people, a background in Creative Arts or Art Therapy qualifications, a valid NSW Driver's licence, first aid certification, and completion of NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children's check clearance.
