About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Art Education Specialist to join our educational team in a thriving independent boys' school on the Lower North Shore of Sydney.

The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons in both Visual Arts and Technology, although this is not essential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and contributing to the growth and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach Visual Arts and Technology to students of varying ages and skill levels;
  • To plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans that cater to different learning styles;
  • To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback;
  • To collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs;
  • To maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.

Requirements:

  • NESA Accreditation and Working with Children Check (WWCC) or eligibility to gain;
  • Working Rights for Australia, including WHV or Skilled Migrant Visa;
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching Visual Arts and/or Technology;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
