Job Title: Parents As Partners Coordinator

Overview:

As a dynamic professional, we are seeking an experienced individual to establish and manage the Parents as Partners Pilot program in Hume Merri-bek.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, support, and mentor Parent Partners, particularly those with lived experience, to help families experiencing cumulative harm in Hume Merri-bek. Collaborate with community organisations and DFFH to deliver a scalable mentoring program that promotes meaningful family engagement and empowerment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a community services, community development, health or human services area preferred, or relevant experience. Coaching or workplace change qualifications, or substantial experience in providing structured follow-on support after initial training. Ability to provide feedback without bias or judgement. Understanding of cultural safety and empathy for diverse backgrounds; commitment to improving services for consumers and consumer rights.
