Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer - Project Specialist to join our team at Bechtel. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement construction plans and procedures
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and safe project execution
  • Verify and validate quantities of materials and equipment
  • Conduct site inspections and testing to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in project engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of Australian Codes & Standards for Structural Steel Installation
  • Experience with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) – Teamworks, Unifier, Cornerstone, SteelSlayer, DSCS
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
