We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering medium to large EPC and EPCM projects.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and apply standard electrical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria for small to medium-sized projects or assignments.
- Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical components and processes used in the generation, transmission, and storage of electricity.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.
- Coordinate electrical engineering efforts with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, contractors, and other functional groups.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to other electrical engineering personnel.
- Interact with project functions, clients, and regulatory agency personnel to resolve complex regulatory issues.
- Mentor and assist junior electrical team members.
- Complete electrical documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Relevant work experience in FEED, proposal, and detailed engineering, preferably in an EPC/EPCM industry for large industrial plants, power projects, utilities, oil, and gas plants.
- Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the Electrical engineering discipline.
- Experience in design, procurement, construction, commissioning, or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, or process plants is desirable.
- Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods and of precedents in the Electrical discipline and principles and practices of inter-related disciplines.
- Knowledge of related construction practices and the associated costs.
- Knowledge of application and coordination of 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools on a project.
- Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to selection of design features within the discipline.
