Job Title: Account Technology Strategist

At Microsoft, we're committed to empowering our customers to achieve their goals through innovative technology solutions. As an Account Technology Strategist, you'll play a critical role in driving the digital transformation of our Queensland University customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Insights: Synthesize business and education industry insights to provide alternate perspectives and enable customers to consider alternatives and adapt strategies, plans, and solutions.
  • Trusted Advisor: Provide thought leadership on IT, business strategy, and technology landscape, leveraging deep understanding of customers to set strategy, lead extended teams, and provide technical guidance.
  • Technology Strategy Formulation: Advise on gaps in customer situations that would benefit from Microsoft solutions, drive action to bring strategic, long-term vision to fruition, and act as a strategic link between Microsoft and the customer for building a technology strategy.
  • Technology Sales: Drive opportunities based on industry best practices, create demand, develop plans to create and qualify opportunities for product and solution sales, and lead technical teams to drive opportunities and reach out to key stakeholders.
  • Differentiated Value Proposition: Act as the customer's Technology Mentor, advising on solutions and aligning Microsoft capabilities with customer needs, lead customer business transformations through digital technologies, ensuring business outcomes and value creation, and capture line-of-business wins as references for scale.
  • Mapping and Account Planning: Orchestrate internal teams and partner ecosystem for demand generation, bridge technology resources with the customer proactively, and motivate and inspire technical resources towards customer's business transformation.
  • Education and Thought Leadership: Deliver regular industry/technology engagements to drive execution and focus on competitive advantage, and ensure that technical resources are motivated and inspired towards customer's business transformation.
