We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Cyber Advisory Specialist.

Cyber Advisory (Data & AI Governance)

Our expert advisors assist clients in navigating the complex landscape of cyber risks, identifying areas of vulnerability and developing strategic roadmaps for improvement. We employ a collaborative approach to assess client needs, develop tailored solutions and provide ongoing support to drive results.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by crafting compelling proposals, responding to tenders and collaborating with clients on presentations and demonstrations.
  • Lead small-scale client engagements, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members on cybersecurity assessment and assurance activities.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and design mitigation strategies for cybersecurity, data governance and AI/ML governance risks.
  • Evaluate compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards and best practices.
  • Utilize advisory and consulting expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients through a combination of hands-on delivery and regular technical leadership and coaching.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of experience working with organisations assessing or implementing data and AI governance controls.
  • A deep understanding of common data governance and AI governance frameworks used by Australian government organisations.
  • A strong foundation in contemporary technologies including networks, hyperscale clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), common SaaS applications, end user compute and data and AI tools/platforms.
  • A sound knowledge of audit standards and frameworks.
  • Basic project management skills and proven ability to lead a team of people in the delivery of a small project.
