Social Media Strategist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that align with our overall marketing goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media best practices, audience engagement strategies, and content trends. They will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Plan and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent brand voice and timely content across channels.
  • Oversee and contribute to content creation, working closely with designers, copywriters, and content creators to produce engaging multimedia content tailored to each platform.
  • Identify and implement creative ideas that leverage trends, seasonal events, and brand campaigns to drive audience engagement.
  • Lead and manage a team of social media designers, content creators, and channel specialists, providing direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, delivering reports on KPIs such as engagement, reach, and conversions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, audience engagement strategies, and content trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Analytical Mindset for data-driven optimisation.
