In this APS3 Supply Chain role with the Australian Government Department of Defence, we are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be intelligent, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a group environment.

About our Team

The APS3 Supply Chain Specialist will be integral to the team that supports logistics inventory management. Key responsibilities include performing stocktaking activities on Central Issue Point and Warehouse logistics inventory, identifying Defence logistics policies, and applying them to inventory management activities across the Warehouse facility.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and experience in supply chain management. As an APS3 Supply Chain Specialist, you will be accountable for performing and achieving straightforward inventory management work within an integrated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing stocktaking activities on Central Issue Point and Warehouse logistics inventory.
  • Identifying Defence logistics policies and applying them to inventory management activities across the Warehouse facility.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships within the team environment and actively participating in team work and group activities.
  • Working under routine direction to perform and achieve straightforward inventory management work within an integrated workforce.

Requirements:

  • A basic understanding of and compliance with relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $55,000 - $65,000 depending on location and experience.
