Job Description:

We are seeking experienced engineers to enhance their capabilities and contribute to the success of our Mine Advisory team. As part of this role, you will collaborate with talented professionals on iconic projects, driving future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.

This is an opportunity to work on interesting and complex projects, leveraging your expertise in tailings and mine waste management. You will contribute to a wide range of projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept studies to detailed design, construction support, operations, and closure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contributing to or leading the design, assessment, and review of tailings storage facilities and related infrastructure
  • Supporting technical analysis, including geotechnical, civil, or hydrological modelling
  • Preparing high-quality reports, designs, and project documentation
  • Leading or contributing to site investigations, inspections, and audits
  • Supporting or managing client relationships, project delivery, and proposal development
  • Providing mentorship to junior staff and contributing to a culture of technical excellence and collaboration

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You should have a degree in civil, geotechnical, or mining engineering (or a related discipline) and experience working on tailings or mine waste projects within consulting or operational environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to high-quality, safe outcomes.

A Chartership (e.g. CPEng or RPEQ) or working toward professional accreditation is desirable for senior/principal levels.
