Job OverviewThis generalist role reports to the HR Manager and enables you to be a key player in managing day-to-day HR operations.
You will execute and manage the national employee recruitment process, including advertising, conducting interviews, reference checks, and execution of employment contracts.

- Ensure an exceptional onboarding experience for our newest team members
- Advise managers on employee relations matters such as coaching, performance, grievances, absenteeism, and award interpretation
- Provide support and guidance to the business regarding salary and benefits for employees as well as award entitlements
- Provide and analyze HR metrics for the business as required, including exit survey data, turnover, headcount, stay interviews, and other reports
- Coordinate and support the annual remuneration review process
- Support with maintaining and updating HR systems
- Supporting activities and projects across the People & Capability team that enable a positive workplace culture
- Perform a variety of HR administrative activities, including maintaining position descriptions, policies, and procedures, maintenance of employment records, including creation of employment letters and contracts
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of HR best practices and who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification within Human Resources or equivalent and 3+ years' experience within HR, with a solid understanding of labour laws and employee relations practices.
Some of the key requirements include:

- You are a proactive problem-solver with great attention to detail
- Exposure and experience with recruitment and HR Systems will be advantageous
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organisation.
We offer a competitive salary and a supportive work environment. The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
